Right well after 3 days of playing the 6 max i realised playing cash without a HUD was a totally different ball game to playing SnGs without one. So after jamming in 7k hands i 3 days i decided to stop. After christmas i'll have my new setup sorted and will get either HEM or PT3 back(used to have PT3 on my old Desktop till it died), since i've been on the lappy and haven't had either.
So once christmas has come and gone, I'll set myself a target again, With PT3 i'll have a much bigger edge. Over the 7k hands i was about $15 up. But didn't think i was playing as well as i could, missing out on some spots.
On the Staking front on the 27 mans i've hit a bit of a downswing, I'm not too disheartened though as i know its all part and parcel in the game of poker. And i'm confident i'll come out the other side soon and start running good.
For now. Goodbye.

Dabbling at 6-Max Cash
Ok so i have decided my goal for December is to start becoming more competant at Cash Games. In the past i have dabbled here and there playing a few K hands but nothing like properly grinding for weeks on end etc.
At the end of every week(maybe 2) i'll be posting up on here as to how many hands i've played and my Profits/Losses. Maybe gonna set myself a target of around 40k hands for the month or somewhere near that figure.
To start with i'll be playing 10NL. I'm a little overolled for this but as i'm just gonna start taking cash games seriously and getting into them i feel this will be the best place to start, Then i can move up as and when i feel ready.
PTR has me down $123 in just over 10k hands. I ain't gonna read into this too much as when i first started online i used to just play cash with whatever i deposited and have no hold on BRM. But now i feel with proper BRM skills and having proper concentration i should be able to make a nice little profit from cash games.
Also since my last proper post i haven't played many SnG's from the staking deal just haven't had time really, But will be firing a few up tonight and be getting back into the flow of things.
For Now
Au Revoir.

WEEEEE I Love turning FTP's into cash !
Well i been runing bad on FTP last couple of days. So today i decided to enter a 1.8kFTP tourney (9 Man SnG with top 3 getting $24+2 Tokens). I Ship that and then use the Token to buy into this SnG :
Add to the $351 another $40 for 10 KO's and i've made myself a tidy little profit for points which i would usually buy another hat or shirt with to go with the ones i have ! So am very happy :D

New update on the staking deal + The cheating Frogs
After the success in the $2.25 and $6.50 27 Mans, My Staker BurnleyMik decided we should have a blast at the $12's . Yesterday i finished the first set of these and the results were as follows :
Buyins : $300
Returns : $409.86
Profits : $109.86
With this being my first go at the $12's i'm very happy with the results. The last 8 games in this set of 25 i ran real bad, all the profits had come in the first 17 games so thats a little disappointing but hey profits are profits and thats why we play poker.
Right after watching the French (Namely Thierry Henry) Rob the Irish last night it got me thinking. Well i ain't gonna say i'm a big fan of the Irish because i'd be fibbing. But anyone who follows English football will know Michel Platini(President of FIFA) hates us. Mainly because our Big 4(Man.U, Arsenal, Chelsea, *cough**cough*(not for long) Liverpool) have got money to spend to make their squads bigger and better by buying quality players from around the globe, But the club sides in his native France just haven't got the money to do it and are therefore being left behind when it comes to the big European competions.
Anyway my thoughts on the matter are as follows, Platini will do Jack Shit about peoples complaints and so on about the Gallas *goal*(Oh he was offside earlier in the move aswell FWIW) but had it of been the opposite way around i.e anyone doing it against the French there would of been uproar and FIFA would be ready for a massive shake up. But now this will most probably be swept under the table and forgotten about. Which i don't think is fair but is there anything we can do about it ... No. Platini will be sat eating Frogs legs, Pissing himself at the fact his country have cheated their way through to the World Cup.
Anyway Rant Over, I'm outta here.

Update on The Staking Deal
Hi All, Have played 2 more sets of the $6.50 27 mans since the last post with mixed results.
Set 5 didn't go too well it was my first losing session at the $6.50's i ended up being down $55.58 for the set. I didn't think i played too badly in the set just had variance against me. Losing races at vital times and 3,2 outers hitting against me but thats poker and theirs nothing you can do about it.
As i'm writing this i've just finished set 6 and its my best set yet. Through the 25 games in this set i've made $118.57 profit. Best i've played for a while and i even won some races. All in all very very happy with this set and hope for more of the same in the future.
Totals After 6 Sets :
Buyins - $975
Returns - $1217.97
Prof/Loss - +$242.97
Not the biggest update but not really had much going on rather than playing a few of these.

My First Ever Post. In My First Ever Blog
Hello to all the bloggers out there. My name is Greg Searston and this is my first ever blog. I have decided to make this blog as i am a member at Raise The River poker forums and most of the guys that post on there have one. I will use this blog of kind of diary of my thoughts and all things about poker.
A little bit about me. I'm 19 years old and live in a small village called Creswell. I usually play live poker on a friday night down at the Ace Of Clubs at the Rose and Crown in Creswell. I play most of my online poker at Full Tilt.
As i write this post i'm in the middle of a staking deal in which i'm playing $6.50 Turbo 27 manners on Full Tilt staked by BurnleyMik from RTR. Up to now i have played 100 of these for a tidy profit of $206.98.
Anyways thats all from me Over and Out.
